So lately I’ve just been posting a lot of photos and quotes but not really adding much of a lesson with the quote and that’s mainly because I’m totally being lazy!  Today I’ve decided to stop this laziness and get some content on here with a picture or quote so here we go!

This is the time of year where I usually start thinking about my life and what it is that I want to do differently next year so typically I write out a list of New Year’s Resolutions and for the most part try to stick to them.

I’m sure, about 100% that I’m not the only person who does this, in fact I know I’m not it’s just something we as humans do. Out with the old in with the new, right?

So when you begin to think about what you want to do differently or to start doing in the New Year, how about this: Think realistically about your goals, don’t just be all willy-nilly with it!  For example, setting the goal of getting married by the summer is not a realistic goal as it does not only involve you, there are 2 people who have to be in agreement on this (I’m sure you get my point here)!

I like to think of thinks that are good for my soul, mind and body and start with small baby steps and don’t set a goal that is over the top otherwise your setting yourself up for failure before you even start.

Here are a few goals that I love and plan to do. Now you might be thinking, exercise daily! Yeah right who has time for that but, try thinking outside of the box for a second.  I didn’t say go to the gym or run 2 miles a day, I was very general in this goal. Exercise to me might mean playing my Wii for 30 minutes or it might mean walking my dog after dinner. Cleaning the house is a form of exercise. Whatever I feel qualifies as exercise will allow me to meet and obtain my resolution. See where I’m going here.

So try not to be too specific, don’t set goals that involve other people, don’t be unrealistic and don’t set yourself up for failure!

The whole point is to be better this year that we were last year, maybe you can say, be nice to one person a day, this can include yourself. Or save money, set up a budget and stick to it. There are so many resolutions that can be obtainable if you are willing to try!

So jump in and get going on your list!

Oh and Happy New Years!

Below are a few photos that I thought were cute for resolutions! (Enjoy!)
